3D modeling, CNC milling and slip casting

This ceramics tile project serves as an exemplar of how parametric design software, such as Grasshopper, can be employed to generate intricate digital ceramic designs. The pattern of the tile consists of repeated square shapes, which were systematically arranged utilizing an attractor curve component. The height of each square is variable, corresponding to its distance from the curve. The tiles were produced using slip casting, whereby the negative shape of the tile was milled onto a plaster mold directly using CNC technology.
